If you have ever cared about LNC, now is the time to act. This endeavor will only succeed if we act together. We know your time is valuable, and because of that, any assistance, at any level, is appreciated. Our needs are varied, it may be that the skills you have honed professional are needed now...
Technology
Part of the work going forward will be to modernize the published materials for camp promotion. Digital media skills will be needed in order to create materials that appeal to today's scout youth as well as the busy adult leader.
Skilled & Unskilled Labor
If you have time, we need you. If you have a hammer and will travel, this is your time. The camp has quite of bit of deferred maintenance and it will take man hours and know how to begin to clear that deficit.
Research and Grants
Yes, we need analytical and writing skills. Our plan revolves around an open data driven process for decision making. To that end, we need financial and scientific minds. Additionally, a stream of revenue that has been ignored until now is the pursuit of grant money. We need individuals versed in grant writing to help drive capital improvements at camp.
Marketing
If you build it they will come....but only if they know about it. We need people who know how to craft a message to attract troops to one of the few remaining wilderness camps that caters to those seeking patrol cooking. Come craft the message that revitalize scouters view of this unique property.
